Crates are GOMdrop's version of batches, which most GOMs are familiar with.

Creating A Crate

Crates can be made from the group orders page. In order to be part of crate, group orders must meet the following criteria:

• Order must be closed
• Order must not have any "Pending" payment statuses
• Order must not be part of a crate already

All crates can be found in the All Crates page.

Here you can update the Location which allows you to send a "Location Update" email to joiners if the option is selected.

Calculating Payments

In order to calculate payments you need to add a valid Total Price to your crate. Once you've done that, you can select one of the Calculation Methods.

The following methods are available:

• Even Split - The total price will be split evenly among each order
• Flat Rate - A flat rate will be applied to every order regardless of total price or order amount
• By Weight - An order's item weight will determine what portion of the total price they will be charged

If you select By Weight, you will need to fill out the weight of each item in your crate before you can send emails.
